  hey all...... i have decided to compile a list of questions that jws simply cannot answer without opening up a vulnerability.....such as.

  1) if jesus is only mediator for the 144,000 then who is the mediator for the rest of us?

  2) plasma is one of the four main components of blood and cannot be taken.

  Will they get rid of the FDS concept?

  what do they need the fds concept for?

  it's a weak idea, based on one scripture which is a rhetorical question.

  they've already published several articles indicating that just because you are annointed doesn't mean you have any special insight, so they've already disconnected annointed from leadership.

  New Light on Blood Fractions

  from the hlc - not a letter from hq - why not?it is felt that because people don't know what to accept and what to say 'no' to, brothers and sisters are saying 'no' to everythying, and this is just wrong!they want brothers to know that not only is blood sacred, but also life is sacred.

  the implication is, that if you say no to fractions, you could be viewing life as not sacred, and that if you do not have a good reason that you can explain, you should not say 'no' to things.

  and they are no longer using the term "blood fractions" - they are to be called "blood derivatives", because the substance is so small.whatever happened to leviticus 17:13?

  In the Aug 2006 Awake It states that scince blood fractions are not mentioned in the bible

  it's a conscience choice, clearly there wasn't any basis

  Oh, Jeez. Let's see what else could be a conscience choice - driving a car, going out on field service, obeying the governing body, cooking in a Teflon-coated pan......should I go on.

  Oh, wait - "Donation" is not in the bible either...

  in the latest october 15th 2012 watchtower (page 13).... "because of what they perceive as defects in the elders, some individuals who engage in serious wrongdoing in the congregation have refused to appear before a committee of elders assigned to help them.

  this could be likened to a patient who loses out on the benefits of a treatment because he does not like something about the doctor.".

  sounds like they're now trying to stigmatize those who try to avoid judical action.

  00DAD, in your first point above:

  I find the leverage point in this statement to be the word "perceive". So it is not that there is any defects in the elders, it is just your peception of such....

  do you own a 4wd vehicle?

  if so, and it's the type that requires you to switch to 4wd, how often do you use that capability?

  i know more than a few people with 4wd capability but never use it.

  a couple of these folks don't even know what it's for.

  No - in the UK we have roads to drive on

  You do, with majority of them (not the M's) wide just enough for one car to pass with the little bump offs every so often to allow you to tuck in and let the oncoming vehicle pass.

  Now on topic - I have both an RWD and AWD cars and the AWD handles way better in slippery conditions. Kinda sucks that you can't do good donuts in empty snowy parking lots, but that's what the RWD is for.
